Beijing, March 10 (Xinhua) — China calls for an immediate ceasefire and end to the war in the Middle East and the search for a political settlement, and supports the Persian Gulf states in taking the region's future and destiny into their own hands, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday.
