Moscow, March 10 (Xinhua) – China's 15th Five-Year Plan will mark a decisive shift toward a new, innovative economic order. This was stated on Tuesday by Chinese and Russian experts during a Moscow-Beijing video conference entitled "Anchor of Stability and Wings of Development: The New Architectural Framework of Global Governance as Seen by Experts from China and Russia."
Plenipotentiary Minister of the Chinese Embassy in the Russian Federation Chang Xuhong noted that the 15th Five-Year Plan defines China's reform and development course for the coming years, sets ambitious goals, and outlines the path to achieving them.
"The 15th Five-Year Plan, which is being prepared for publication, also sends a clear message: regardless of how the external situation changes, China will respond to external uncertainty with its own certainty—high-quality development," the diplomat emphasized.
The videoconference took place during the annual "two sessions" in China—the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference—where the main provisions of the country's 15th Five-Year Plan for Socioeconomic Development (2026-2030) are being discussed. Andrei Denisov, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, noted the special significance of the current sessions.
"They open a new five-year period of promising development for the country. This is a decisive, rather bold shift toward a new, innovative economic and technological order," stated A. Denisov.
During the video conference, experts exchanged views on global governance and the Chinese-Russian partnership. –0–
