Vladivostok, March 10 (Xinhua) — Eight people were injured in a four-car collision on Tuesday in the city of Belogorsk in Russia's Amur Region, the regional prosecutor's office press service reported on its Telegram channel.
The accident occurred in the Transportny microdistrict, on the viaduct over the railway tracks on Aviatsionnaya Street. Six of the eight injured required medical attention and were taken to a hospital.
According to preliminary data from the Amur Region Civil Defense and Fire Safety Center, the accident was caused by a drunk driver of a Honda CR-V, who was trapped in the vehicle after the collision. He had to be freed.
