Seventeen buildings are being built in the North-Eastern Administrative District under the renovation program. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
"Currently, 17 buildings are being built in 10 districts of the northeast part of the capital as part of the renovation program. The new buildings will cover a total area of almost 600,000 square meters. They will contain over 6,200 apartments, approximately 70 of which are accessible to people with disabilities. The total living space will exceed 360,000 square meters," said Vladimir Efimov.
All residential complexes will be barrier-free. Walk-through entrances and lobbies will be flush with the street sidewalks, ensuring that all residents, including seniors and pregnant women, can access the building without assistance. Concierge rooms and stroller storage areas will also be provided in the entryways.
"The largest number of new buildings—five—will be built in the Losinoostrovsky district. Two buildings are being built in three districts: Ostankinsky, Maryina Roshcha, and Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo. Another residential complex is being built in the Alekseevsky, Rostokino, Babushkinsky, Bibirevo, Sviblovo, and Yaroslavsky districts. Comprehensive landscaping is planned for the area around each new building. Comfortable recreation areas with playgrounds, sports fields, and cozy spaces for quiet relaxation will be created in the courtyards, for a total of about 70 buildings," added the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy.
The progress of work at all stages is controlled by Committee for State Construction Supervision of the City of Moscow (Moscow State Construction Supervision Authority). Chairman of the agency Anton Slobodchikov The committee reported that inspectors have already conducted 57 on-site inspections. Employees from the subordinate Center for Expertise, Research, and Testing in Construction also participated. Specialists assessed the compliance of the completed work and materials with design specifications and performed instrumental quality control.
In accordance with the renovation program standards, new buildings are being constructed using high-quality materials, primarily Russian-made, and modern energy-efficient technologies. All buildings will be connected to individual heating units for uninterrupted year-round heat and water supply.
Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin said that in the Mozhaisk district, more than 250 residents from two neighboring houses.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It affects approximately one million Muscovites and provides for the resettlement of 5,176 buildings. Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin ordered an increase pace of implementation renovation programs by two times.
