Baku, March 9 /Xinhua/ — Azerbaijan and Iran resumed freight traffic across their shared border on Monday, the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers reported.

From 10:00 local time, entry and exit of all types of freight transport, including transit traffic, was resumed.

On March 5, the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers temporarily closed the border in response to drone attacks allegedly launched from Iran. Iran denied involvement in the incident and said it would conduct its own investigation.
