Minsk, March 9 (Xinhua) — The Presidium of the Council of Ministers of Belarus approved the government's action program for developing cooperation with African countries for 2026-2030. The Council of Ministers' press service published the relevant information on Monday.
The goal of the action program is to create a mechanism for establishing Belarus on the African continent as a reliable trade and economic partner, possessing modern and competitive goods, services, technologies, and expertise. The program's objectives include developing effective political, trade, economic, logistical, and humanitarian tools to advance Belarus's interests in Africa.
The Action Program identifies promising areas of cooperation and products of export interest. One of the key elements of the program is indicative indicators for the export of Belarusian goods and services to African countries for 2026-2030. Belarus plans to ensure that actual exports of goods and services to Africa reach approximately $1.5 billion by 2030. –0–
