BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) — An early ceasefire and cessation of hostilities in the Persian Gulf region is now the highest priority, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday, adding that China highly appreciates the consistent calls from countries in the region for dialogue and negotiations.
