BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) — China is committed to maintaining order in the capital market and promoting its high-quality development, according to a work report submitted by the Supreme People's Court (SPC) to the ongoing fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) on Monday.

In 2025, Chinese courts completed the review of approximately 25,000 cases related to securities, futures, and funds, which was 53.6 percent more than in 2024.

Crimes such as fraudulent issuance, falsification of financial statements and market manipulation were severely punished to protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors, the aforementioned report said. -0-
