DUBAI, March 9 (Xinhua) — Authorities in the emirate of Fujairah, located on the east coast of the UAE, said on Monday they had brought under control a fire at an oil field caused by falling debris after an air defense operation.
Officials said emergency crews responded quickly and contained the fire, and there were no reports of injuries.
Authorities also urged the public not to spread rumors and to rely only on information from official sources, adding that information will be updated as events develop. –0–
