BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) — Chinese courts completed the handling of about 159,000 cases involving foreigners during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), up 66 percent from the previous five years, according to a work report by the Supreme People's Court (SPC).

The report was submitted to the ongoing 4th session of the 14th National People's Congress on Monday.

According to the report, China effectively implements the Foreign Sanctions Control Law and takes decisive countermeasures against illegal sanctions and “long-arm jurisdiction.” -0-
