BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) — China's courts will strengthen their fight against new drug-related crimes in 2025, according to a work report by the Supreme People's Court (SPC) submitted to the ongoing fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) on Monday.
According to the report, China has seen a decline in crimes related to traditional drugs for several years.
The Supreme People's Assembly of the People's Republic of China has stepped up efforts to distinguish between the illegal trade in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and the legal purchase and use of medicines, and has issued judicial recommendations to strengthen relevant oversight, the document says. -0-
