Tehran, March 8 (Xinhua) — Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Sunday that it had carried out the 28th series of strikes, targeting targets in the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Beersheba, as well as the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan. The strikes used new-generation missiles.
A statement published on the official IRGC news portal, Sepah News, noted that missiles from the IRGC Aerospace Force were used in the attacks. It specified that the infrastructure of the Al-Azraq Air Base, which is "the largest and most active base for US attack fighters," was subjected to several strikes.
The IRGC also reported that military targets in Tel Aviv and Beersheba were hit by Heibar missiles equipped with super-heavy warheads. –0–
