BEIJING, March 7 (Xinhua) — China has issued vouchers for elderly care for people with moderate to severe disability this year, totaling 1.72 billion yuan (249 million U.S. dollars), benefiting 892,000 people nationwide, Minister of Civil Affairs Lu Zhiyuan announced Saturday at a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC).
