BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday extended congratulations and best wishes to women from all ethnic groups and walks of life in China ahead of International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8.
Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, congratulated the women while attending a joint panel discussion of members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) at the ongoing 4th session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee. -0-
