BEIJING, March 5 (Xinhua) — China will resolutely oppose hegemonism and power politics and uphold equality and justice in international relations, according to a government work report submitted to the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress on Thursday.
China will firmly adhere to an independent and self-sufficient peaceful foreign policy, unwaveringly follow the path of peaceful development, and expand its global partnership network, the report said.
China is ready to work with the international community to advocate for an equal and orderly multipolar world, as well as for accessible and inclusive economic globalization, and to advance the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative, and the Global Governance Initiative, the report notes.
According to the report, the country will also actively participate in the reform and development of the global governance system, promoting the development of the international order in a more just and rational direction.
