BEIJING, March 5 (Xinhua) — China will continue to implement a more proactive fiscal policy in 2026 and plans to widen its overall budget deficit by 230 billion yuan (approximately 33.29 billion U.S. dollars) compared to last year, according to a government work report submitted to the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress on Thursday.
