NPC Deputy Guo Hongjing is the head of the hardware parts team in the warehouse department of Tianjin Lizhong Wheel Co., Ltd. Over more than ten years, she has risen from a rural migrant worker to a skilled industrial worker and then to an NPC deputy, always remaining at the forefront.
Her daily responsibilities include receiving, issuing, and inventorying warehouse materials. This work may seem unobtrusive at first glance, but it's actually quite complex. In a huge warehouse, a thorough understanding of the many different types and models of goods is required, ranging from small screws to large electric motors.
Since 2018, Guo Hongjing has served two consecutive terms as an NPC deputy. She devotes the most attention to her colleagues. She often uses moments—lunchtime in the cafeteria or conversations in the dormitory—to listen to the voices of workers on the front lines and gather their opinions and suggestions.
During her time as a member of parliament, Guo Hongjing conducted surveys and research at enterprises, focusing on the modernization of production and the transformation of industrial workers. She also proposed innovative models for elderly care in rural areas, consistently bringing public welfare issues to the attention of the NPC session.
At the 2026 NPC session, Guo Hongjing will focus on topics such as green industrial development, protecting workers' rights and interests, and implementing paid leave, contributing to promoting high-quality socio-economic development.
