This week, a team cross-country ski relay race among KAMAZ divisions took place in the Pribrezhny city park. The competition was timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the first KAMAZ truck, the 55th anniversary of the auto giant's trade union, and the 400th anniversary of the founding of Naberezhnye Chelny.
The auto giant's United Primary Trade Union organized the sporting event. Twelve teams representing the company's plants and divisions took the starting line. Radik Gabitov, head of the trade union's press center, delivered a welcoming speech. Trade union leaders, colleagues, and friends came to support the skiers.
The team from the First Deputy General Director's Unit – Development Director took first place in the competition. The teams from the Press and Stamping Plant and the Automobile Plant also demonstrated excellent results, taking first and second place, respectively.
The awards ceremony for the relay winners and runners-up will take place tomorrow, February 28, at the KAMAZ PJSC Open Individual and Team Cross-Country Skiing Championship.
