JERUSALEM, March 4 (Xinhua) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Wednesday evening that it launched another wave of airstrikes on Tehran, hitting Iranian military targets.
The IDF said in a statement that the Israeli military targeted Iranian military infrastructure throughout Tehran, marking the 11th Israeli airstrikes and the second on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, the IDF announced it had carried out major airstrikes on targets in eastern Tehran used as headquarters for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the IRGC Quds Force, the intelligence agency, the IRGC's Basij militia, internal security, and cyberwarfare units.
