TAIYUAN, July 30 (Xinhua) — Ten people have been confirmed dead as of 6 p.m. Wednesday after contact with a mid-size bus was lost on Sunday morning in north China's Shanxi Province, where rainfall has been incessant for several days, local authorities said Wednesday.
The vehicle, which was carrying 14 people, went out of contact early Sunday morning near a village in Tianzhen County, Datong City, the emergency rescue headquarters said.
The bodies of 10 missing persons have been recovered. Search and rescue operations are ongoing. -0-
