BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) — China's non-state-owned economy is seeing even greater prospects as the Law on Promoting the Development of the Non-State-owned Economy is further implemented, Lou Qinjian, spokesperson for the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

It's time for private enterprises and entrepreneurs to come into their own, Lou Qingjian said.

He noted that the main course and policy of the party and the state regarding the development of the non-state sector of the economy will be firmly upheld and strictly implemented; they cannot be changed and will not change.

Since the Law on Promoting the Development of the Non-State-Owned Economic Sector came into effect in May 2025, relevant government departments have adopted more than 150 support measures, and several provincial-level administrative units have enacted relevant local regulations, a representative of the session said.

These steps have created favorable conditions for the growth of the non-state sector of the economy, Lou Qingjian emphasized. -0-
