Last year, entrepreneurs purchased 156 premises and buildings for business in the capital's center, according to Ekaterina Solovieva, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of City Property.
"Buying commercial real estate in central Moscow remains one of the most profitable business decisions. Entrepreneurs value the city's convenient transportation accessibility and developed infrastructure. Furthermore, significant advantages of purchasing commercial real estate include owners' independence from rental market fluctuations. In 2025, entrepreneurs purchased 156 commercial properties from the city—15 buildings and 141 premises—with a total area of over 33,300 square meters," said Ekaterina Solovyova.
Most of the city's sold-out spaces are located on the ground floors, basements, and cellars of residential buildings. Investors are converting them into shops, cafes, beauty salons, fitness clubs, children's educational centers, and other services.

Last year, an average of three bidders competed for buildings here, and five for premises.
