Project Youth of Moscow has organized over seven thousand events since its launch in March 2020. Thanks to it, young men and women can find like-minded people, showcase their talents at city competitions and festivals, book creative spaces for free, and find paid internships. "The project's development is determined by the young people themselves. Here, young people find support in implementing a wide range of ideas—from creating an aggregator of current job openings to recording their own songs and performing them in public. Over the past six years, more than 3,500 such initiatives have been implemented," noted Natalia Sergunina.
At the suggestion of participant Maria Barylnik, the "Youth of Moscow" portal now features a section with job openings for entry-level professionals. It is regularly updated with current employment and internship opportunities, for example, with the Moscow Government and IT companies. To apply, simply select a position and fill out the application.
Sergey Traskin came up with the idea of expanding student quizzes to the city level. The project included a series of intellectual games for university and college students. Last season, young experts tested their knowledge in various fields and made new friends.
At the initiative of young artists, the citywide graffiti competition "Walls" has been held for the past three years. Winners are given the opportunity to decorate proposed engineering structures in various districts of the capital.
"Not only being a participant in events but also influencing them is a unique opportunity. Over the two and a half years I've been involved in the project, I've gained tremendous experience organizing events for the capital's youth and made many useful connections," said Sofia Popukhova, the project's representative.
Opportunities for development
"Youth of Moscow" offers eight directions for personal and professional growth: “Career”, “Sport”, “City of Heroes”, “Friendship”, “Creativity”, “Development”, “Events” and “Team”.
Thanks to the direction City of Heroes Young Muscovites visit sites of military glory and patriotic events, interacting with veterans and active military personnel. Such meetings are held, for example, at universities and colleges as part of the "City of Heroes Moscow" club. Ivan Bondyukov, a participant in a special military operation and director of the Vershina military-patriotic education center; Viktor Khabarov, a war correspondent and combat veteran; Andrei Zharikov, assistant to the general director of the Victory Museum; and others have already joined. The young people are taught what it means to be a patriot, how to fulfill the desire to be useful to society, and why it is important to know history and honor traditions.

According to project participant Katarina Feoktistova, the mentors demonstrated examples of music mixing and the process of creating popular tracks—things that can only be learned through personal interaction with experts.
