Every time Musazhan Khairat, a deputy of the 14th NPC and a resident of Kezheghetas village, Xiao'erbulake township, Xinyuan county, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang, returns from sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC), he first of all conveys to his fellow villagers the spirit of the "two sessions" and the policy of preferential treatment for the population.
After graduating from junior high school, Musazhan Khairat learned to forge iron, then opened his own electric welding workshop. The widespread use of drip irrigation systems significantly eased farmers' labor and increased their income security. Focusing on high-quality rural development, he made a number of proposals: the reconstruction and expansion of Nalati Airport in Xinyuan County, the upgrading of county roads, and the protection of wetlands. All of this helped expand rural development opportunities and improve the residents' well-being.
From a proactive worker who achieved prosperity through his own labor to a NPC deputy who defends the interests of his fellow villagers, Musazhan Khairat always remains in his home village, keeping his fellow villagers' concerns in his heart.
