BEIJING, March 3 (Xinhua) — Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Tuesday called on Israel to take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of Chinese personnel and institutions in the country.
Wang Yi, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the corresponding call during a telephone conversation with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa'ar. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Israeli side.
