On February 28, the Lomonosov cluster hosted the 3rd annual forum and festival "Moms. Children. Business." This year, over 5,000 women registered for the event to discuss how to harmoniously combine family and business, learn about current government support measures, and gain practical tools for further developing their own businesses. The forum and festival provided a space for open dialogue, sharing experiences, and strengthening professional networks. This contributed to the formation of a sustainable community of like-minded individuals. The event proved its relevance and significance, establishing itself as an effective platform for supporting women's entrepreneurship.

One of the central events of the forum-festival was the business lounge "My Business – My Future: A Woman's View," which brought together representatives of government agencies, the business community, and the creative industries.

As Tatyana Ilyushnikova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, noted, female entrepreneurship has a number of specific characteristics related to industry specialization, social priorities, and a high degree of responsibility for balancing professional fulfillment with family.

"Based on long-term observations, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development has noted consistent trends in the development of female entrepreneurship. The first is that women are more conscious about scaling their businesses and are less willing to take risks if they see alternative options. The second trend is that starting a business positively influences the decision to have children. One in four participants in the "Mom Entrepreneur" program decides to have another child after starting their business. And the third is that women build their businesses with the long term in mind, including the intention of passing them on to their children. Almost a million female entrepreneurs intend to do so," emphasized Tatyana Ilyushnikova.

Women's entrepreneurship is a driving force behind the capital's economy, and the city strives to create favorable conditions for its growth and development.

"Together with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, we held the 'Moms. Children. Business' forum and festival for the third time. It brought together women entrepreneurs and mothers who are already developing their own businesses or are just considering starting one. The program covered key topics, including entering new markets, finding vacant niches, and federal and city support tools. One in three businesses in Moscow is founded by a woman, and this proportion continues to grow. Women's businesses are actively developing in education, beauty, and medicine, and are also increasingly entering other fields, such as mechanical engineering, IT, and technology. It is important for us to create conditions in which every woman can realize her potential, and to this end, we offer a wide range of support measures," she noted.

Kristina Kostroma, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow.

Current business development tools were the main topic of the forum's business program. Experts discussed scaling strategies, finding a unique business-style code, and mechanisms for turning a personal blog into capital. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of entrepreneurship—from building customer service and legal security to managing a personal brand and retaining an audience.

Events for participants were held throughout the Lomonosov cluster. On the ground floor, guests could explore products from Moscow manufacturers at the "Made in Moscow" market, which brought together 17 entrepreneurs who produce products for mothers and children. Participants included manufacturers of toys, children's clothing, publishers, creators of educational games, and designer accessories.

The second floor was converted into a space for collaboration and business networking. Here, moderators held business games, vocal and partnership workshops, and public speaking training.

While the mothers were gaining business knowledge, the children were occupied with an equally engaging program. On the third floor, a children's educational club was open, with activities including financial literacy workshops, competitions, quizzes, creative corners, craft and woodworking classes, tours of the innovation cluster, and career guidance sessions for teenagers. A cinema was also set up for the youngest guests, where they enjoyed a screening of the Russian family hit "Cheburashka 2."

The "Moms. Children. Business" forum was held as part of the Moscow Mayor's "Winter in Moscow" project, which brings together key city events of the season and aims to support the capital's social and entrepreneurial initiatives.
