JERUSALEM, March 2 (Xinhua) — The Israeli army has launched an offensive against Hezbollah, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced on Monday.
He said the operation would last "many days" due to the fact that the conflict on the country's northern border has sharply escalated.
