BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday announced a decision to add 20 Japanese entities to an export control list, citing the need to protect the country's national security and interests, as well as fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation.

Exporters are prohibited from exporting dual-use goods to them, and foreign organizations and individuals are prohibited from transferring or providing dual-use goods originating in China to them. Any relevant activities currently underway must cease immediately, the agency stated.

Also on Tuesday, China's Ministry of Commerce added 20 Japanese organizations to its watch list because the end users and end-use purposes of their dual-use goods could not be verified.
