TEHRAN, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday reiterated his administration's commitment to national steadfastness and unity, saying Iran will not succumb to external pressure in nuclear talks with the United States.

Speaking at a meeting in Tehran, M. Pezeshkian emphasized the nation's determination to overcome difficulties and defend its dignity.

"We will make efforts and will not retreat in the face of any difficulties that come our way," the Iranian president said live on the state television channel IRIB TV.

“We will make efforts to strengthen the sense of self-worth and pride in our country, and… we will work for its benefit with full dedication,” he added.

Acknowledging the difficulties, M. Pezeshkian called for national unity, urging Iranians to “put aside differences” and remain united. –0–
