Cairo, February 19 (Xinhua) — At least 18 people were killed and three others injured in a collision between two trucks in Egypt's Port Said province, northeast of Cairo, on Thursday, authorities in the northern province of Dakahliyah said in a statement.
The statement said a heavy-duty vehicle collided with a pickup truck transporting workers from Dakahlia to fish farms in Port Said.
Civil defense and security forces, as well as ambulances, were quickly dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to three hospitals.
