ISLAMABAD, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) — At least six people were killed in a collision between a car and a trailer on a national highway in Pakistan's southern Sindh province on Monday, rescue officials said.

The accident occurred in the Naushahro-Feroze district. A car heading to the provincial capital, Karachi, collided with a trailer, a 1122 rescue service official told Xinhua.

"The impact was powerful, the car was completely destroyed. All six passengers died instantly," the official said.

Rescue teams took the bodies to a nearby hospital, where all victims were pronounced dead.
