Beijing, February 15 (Xinhua) — A launch ceremony for the China-Eurasia Investment and Trade Promotion Center (CETPC) online platform was held recently in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The platform aims to create a comprehensive digital hub to facilitate trade cooperation between China and Central Asian and European countries, according to the Zhongguo Xinwenshe news agency.
The platform, which is geared toward the needs of businesses conducting cross-border transactions, provides services for obtaining permits, finding business partners, customs clearance and logistics, and risk prevention.
This platform's consular services extend to Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Furthermore, the platform now offers visual resources of industrial parks in Central Asian countries, allowing companies to familiarize themselves with the conditions for operating abroad, reducing the costs of investment decisions.
As a reminder, the China-Eurasia Investment and Trade Promotion Center began operating in Urumqi in April 2025, and its comprehensive service center opened in August of the same year.
To date, this center has served more than 350 enterprises from China and abroad and has already opened foreign branches in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. -0-
