Kyiv, February 14 (Xinhua) — The next round of peace talks involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia is scheduled for February 17-18 in Geneva. Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation to the trilateral talks, announced this on Telegram on Friday.
According to him, official Kyiv has already begun preparations for the upcoming meeting to achieve sustainable and lasting peace.
In addition to R. Umerov, the Ukrainian delegation will include the head of the Presidential Office (OP) Kyrylo Budanov, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Gnatov, the head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction David Arakhamia, the first deputy head of the OP Serhiy Kyslytsya, and the deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vadym Skibitsky.
The previous round of peace talks involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia took place in Abu Dhabi /UAE/ on February 4-5. –0–
