Kyiv, February 14 /Xinhua/ — During the 33rd meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (Ramstein), international partners announced their intention to allocate $38 billion in military support to Ukraine through 2026. Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram on Friday, emphasizing that the current Ramstein meeting was one of the most successful.

He noted that over $6 billion of this amount will be provided through specific assistance packages. Specifically, $2.5 billion will be allocated for the production of Ukrainian drones, $2 billion for air defense systems, and over $500 million for the implementation of the PURL (Priority Needs List of Ukraine) program.

In addition, funding will be allocated for artillery ammunition, military training, and strengthening the naval component, the Defense Minister added.

According to him, Ukraine has also reached an agreement with a number of European countries on the urgent delivery of missiles for the Patriot systems. –0–
