Munich, Germany, February 13, Xinhua — Relations between China and Ukraine must stay on the right track and maintain stable and healthy development, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in Munich on Friday.
Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the statement during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
Noting that the international situation has undergone major changes, Wang Yi noted that China adheres to the original principles of establishing diplomatic relations, namely mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, cooperation for the sake of mutual benefit, values the traditional friendship between China and Ukraine, and steadily promotes interstate cooperation in various fields. –0–
