Moscow, February 13 /Xinhua/ — A new round of talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine will take place in Geneva, Russian media reported, citing Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"The next round of negotiations on a Ukrainian settlement will also take place in a trilateral Russian-American-Ukrainian format on February 17-18 in Geneva," he said, adding that the Russian delegation will be led by Vladimir Medinsky, aide to the Russian president.
The first round of trilateral security consultations involving Russia, Ukraine, and the United States took place on January 23-24 in Abu Dhabi. The Russian negotiating team was led by Igor Kostyukov, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
