Dushanbe, February 12 /Xinhua/ — Tajikistan's foreign trade volume will reach $10.7 billion in 2025, an increase of 20.2 percent compared to 2024, representatives of the country's Customs Service announced at a press conference on Thursday.

According to the agency, imports in 2025 reached nearly $8.3 billion, an 18.6 percent increase compared to the previous year. Exports totaled $2.4 billion, an increase of more than 26 percent.

Imports accounted for 77.2 percent of the total trade turnover, while exports accounted for 22.8 percent.

The Customs Service noted that mineral products and antimony form the bulk of Tajik exports. Mineral product exports reached $618 million, or 25.3 percent of total exports, while antimony exports reached $450 million, or 20.5 percent.

Hydrocarbons, particularly petroleum products, accounted for the bulk of imports in 2025. Their import volume approached $960 million, accounting for 11.6 percent of the country's total import volume.
