Alexander Novak held a meeting on increasing labor productivity.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting on increasing labor productivity with the participation of Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ministry of Education.
During the meeting, the agencies presented their industry programs aimed at optimizing technological processes, implementing modern management tools and digital technologies, developing human resources, and freeing up production capacity.
The Deputy Prime Minister ordered the approval of industry-specific programs to improve labor productivity in various areas, and also noted the importance of a more detailed approach to statistics using specific parameters reflecting productivity growth in each area.
"According to the instructions of the President of Russia, the federal project to improve labor productivity should cover 40% of medium and large enterprises in the core non-resource sectors of the economy, as well as all state and municipal social sector organizations. However, it is also worth paying attention to broader performance indicators across various sectors of the economy to improve its effectiveness, which should be expressed in specific physical and financial indicators," Alexander Novak emphasized.
