Yerevan, February 10 (Xinhua) — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Nvidia Vice President Rev Lebaredyan discussed prospects for the further development of the technology sector in Armenia on Tuesday, the press service of the Armenian prime minister reported.
The two discussed the Firebird project, which is building an artificial intelligence factory and data center in the country, and noted the importance of Nvidia receiving permission to export the next batch of its high-power chips.
The introduction of artificial intelligence into public administration to improve its efficiency was also discussed. In this regard, the Armenian Prime Minister emphasized the need for support from the private sector.
R. Lebaredyan also presented a draft educational program in the field of technology in Armenia. N. Pashinyan stated the government's readiness to support the program's implementation.
