BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) — As a close and friendly neighbor of Thailand, China supports Thailand in pursuing a development path suited to its own conditions and maintaining stability and development, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Tuesday.
Lin Jian made this statement at a regular departmental press conference, responding to journalists' requests to comment on the elections to the House of Representatives of Thailand.
He said China is willing to work with Thailand to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, further advance the construction of a China-Thailand community with a shared future, and ensure greater benefits for the peoples of both countries. -0-
