SEOUL, February 10 (Xinhua) — An oil storage tank exploded Tuesday morning in southeastern South Korea, causing a fire, the Renhap News Agency reported.
The fire broke out around 8:00 a.m. local time. The oil storage facility is located in the city of Gyeongsan, approximately 250 kilometers southeast of the South Korean capital, Seoul.
The flames were sparked by an explosion on the tank's lid and then gradually died down, but there are currently reports of smoke.
