Yerevan, February 6 (Xinhua) — Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on Friday scheduling the next elections to the National Assembly (parliament) for June 7, 2026, the presidential press service reported.
The previous snap parliamentary elections were held in Armenia on June 20, 2021. The ruling Civil Contract party, having received 54 percent of the vote, formed a majority in parliament. –0–
