The Prime Minister inspected the renovated hospital building and familiarized himself with a presentation on the development of the region’s healthcare system.

The building of the hospital for war veterans in Omsk is being prepared for delivery after major repairs and will become part of a single complex for providing medical care to participants in a special military operation. Modern methods of diagnostics, treatment and medical rehabilitation will become available to participants in the special military operation.

The area of the renovated building is more than 5.5 thousand square meters. It is planned to equip it with 513 units of medical equipment. There will be 140 beds, which will allow receiving over 3.5 thousand patients annually. The hospital will include a medical rehabilitation department for patients with disorders of the peripheral nervous system and musculoskeletal system with 30 beds. The renovated hospital will also house diagnostic units (MRI and CT diagnostics, a clinical diagnostic laboratory), a surgical department with an operating block, physiotherapy departments, functional diagnostics, neurology, therapy, and a regional geriatric center.
