The Moscow Civil Defense and Emergencies Training and Methodology Center continues to actively develop. It trains a wide range of specialists and provides advanced training. These include firefighters, rescuers, Moscow 112 system operators, and navigators. By 2025, the center will have trained more than 21,000 specialists, according to the Center.Moscow's urban infrastructure complex.

The first aid program was particularly popular, with enrollment doubling compared to the previous year. The center is actively developing distance learning. They have implemented a new platform, developed 17 educational programs, and made online surveys available.

Webinars have become the main tool for interactive distance learning. They make learning rich and engaging. The integration of information and communication technologies into in-person learning is another effective tool. In just one year, 46 specialized videos were created and are being used in curricula across various fields of study. Particular attention was paid to developing the volunteer movement. It serves as an important starting point for those planning a professional career in emergency rescue services. Compared to 2024, interest in this field has grown: the number of trainees has quadrupled, and the number of public water rescuers has increased sixfold.

In 2025, the center successfully implemented educational programs for employees of the Lieutenant General D.I. Mikhailik Civil Defense Academy of the Russian Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies, and Disaster Relief, as well as for deputy heads of the agency's regional departments. Significant attention was paid to youth outreach: 150 Moscow educational institutions held open lessons, reaching over 24,500 schoolchildren. A special class for cadets was also organized.

2025 was an important year for the educational and methodological center. One of the key events was participation in the "Moscow Longevity" project. Thanks to it, senior citizens were able to realize their potential, improve their health, gain new knowledge and skills, and develop their creative abilities.

The center's educational department staff actively attended forums, exhibitions, and conferences. Key events in 2025 include the XXXV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Prevention. Rescue. Assistance," the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Civil Defense for Peace and Security," and the XXVIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes."

Rescue services are holding open lessons and excursions for Moscow schoolchildren.

Based on the 2025 results, Stanislav Peskov, senior lecturer at the State Fire Service Training Center, was recognized as the best instructor at the Moscow Civil Defense and Emergencies Training and Methodology Center. The Civil Defense Department took first place in the 2025 evaluation of training units, the Mobilization Training Department received a special letter of thanks, and the Civil Defense and Emergencies Training and Methodology Center of the Western, Troitsky, and Novomoskovsky Administrative Districts of the capital received a diploma for first place in the effectiveness evaluation.
