CARACAS, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) — Venezuelan Acting President Delcy Rodriguez announced late Friday that a general amnesty process for political prisoners has begun.
The proposed amnesty law will soon be submitted to the National Assembly (parliament) and will cover “the entire period of political violence” in the country since 1999, D. Rodriguez said during a public speech.
