Minsk, January 30 (Xinhua) – Belarus exported $10 billion worth of food in 2025, setting a historic record. The Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Food released the data on Friday.

The agency's press service noted that in 2025, Belarus achieved its highest growth rate in food and agricultural exports for the first time.

"According to preliminary data, the volume of deliveries amounted to $10 billion. Food exports account for a quarter of the country's total merchandise exports, making the agricultural sector one of the key drivers of the Belarusian economy," the ministry emphasized.

Dairy products continue to form the core of the export portfolio, accounting for 40% of all deliveries. Meat products account for 19%.

Products from Belarusian manufacturers are supplied to 116 countries. In 2025, the largest growth in supplies is expected to be to the CIS and Asia.
