SEOUL, January 30 (Xinhua) — A fire broke out at a household goods factory in Eumseong County, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, on Friday afternoon, Renhap News Agency reported.
There are currently no reports of casualties. Fire services reported that a Level 2 emergency was declared, and 105 personnel, 56 pieces of equipment, and four helicopters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
Authorities stated that the factory produces wet wipes and diapers and does not use hazardous chemicals. An investigation into the cause and damage assessment will be conducted after the fire is contained.
