NordStar Airlines has summarized its operational results for 2025. Over the 12 months of 2025, the airline demonstrated stable growth in key performance indicators compared to the previous period: 1,265,000 passengers were carried on its own flights, with passenger turnover reaching 3,276 million passenger-kilometers. Annual flight hours totaled 28,995. The airline transported 4,303 tons of mail and cargo in 2025.
More than half of the airline's key performance indicators are driven by the extensive route network of its home base, Norilsk. In 2025, the airline operated scheduled flights from Norilsk to 20 destinations. Scheduled flights to Gelendzhik and Krasnodar, previously restricted, were reinstated. More than 600,000 passengers were carried, with annual passenger turnover exceeding 1.514 billion passenger kilometers. Flight hours on Norilsk routes totaled 14,318. Mail and cargo volumes totaled 3,420 tonnes.
"2025 was marked by the development and enhancement of passenger accessibility and loyalty. One of the key objectives in this regard was the opening of our own ticket and service sales offices in the Norilsk Industrial District. In the summer of 2025, two sales offices were opened – in Norilsk and Talnakh – and for six months, they have been providing passengers with a full range of services face-to-face, including information, flight selection, and ticket booking. The development of sales office services will continue in the next period," notes Leonid Mokhov, CEO of NordStar Airlines. "Another step toward strengthening loyalty was the global update of the "Flying is Easy!" frequent flyer loyalty program. The new program is more passenger-focused and will soon offer significantly more opportunities for independent planning of how to use privileges."
Particular attention is being paid to developing internal competencies. 2025 marks an active phase of development for the Aviation Training Center, with the expansion of training programs. Currently, the Aviation Training Center offers initial flight attendant training for the Boeing 737 NG, pilot training in emergency rescue procedures (ERP), and initial and recurrent flight attendant instructor training. This marks a new stage in the company's efforts to build a sustainable talent base and maintain quality onboard service. It also marks the first step toward independent learning—anyone interested in pursuing a career in aviation with the goal of eventually finding employment with Russian airlines can take this training.
In 2026, the airline is focused on further expanding its flight geography, while maintaining a priority focus on maintaining a consistently high level of flight safety, as well as improving service levels to ensure the most comfortable travel experience for every passenger.
