BEIJING, January 28 (Xinhua) — Research and development (R&D) expenditure by China's centrally administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs) will reach 1.1 trillion yuan (about 157.69 billion U.S. dollars) in 2025, according to official data released Wednesday.
R&D spending at these companies has exceeded 1 trillion yuan for four years in a row, said Pan Xiaogang, deputy head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, on Wednesday.
