BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) — Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretary of the Central and State Administration Work Commission of the CPC Central Committee, called on Tuesday for actively promoting high-quality Party building to ensure a strong guarantee for the successful launch of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
Cai Qi made the call at a meeting on party work and discipline inspection work in central and state organs.
He emphasized that the creation of model party organizations should become a key tool for party building.
Recalling that 2025 marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, the meeting participants called on central and state organs to strictly enforce political discipline and political norms and to implement the decisions and orders of the CPC Central Committee with even greater vigor.
Central and state authorities were recommended to improve working mechanisms for preventing and correcting deviations in views on policy results, making specific achievements in stabilizing growth, promoting development, improving people's well-being, and preventing risks the key evaluation criteria.
In addition, the meeting participants called for continued efforts to eliminate excessive formalism and ease the burden at the grassroots level.
